HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Hi everyone!! It's my birthday today!! :) I am off to bed early for some heavy fun and celebrating tomorrow, but I just wanted to quickly tell you...to celebrate with my digicommunity, I've put my entire store on sale for 40% off!! Woohoo!! I've also got this fun new kit in stores, also in honor of birthday weekend (LOL, I call it that because my hubby's birthday is the day before mine, so it's a two day par-tay!!!!)

Phew..holidays over...time for a gift!!

So did everyone have a nice holiday?? While it truly was wonderful this year, despite everyone being in hard times (honestly, I think it made us appreciate everything even more) I was so relieved to pack away all my Christmas decor get my house back to normal today. Hopefully my scrapping/designing schedule will soon follow!! :)
I've gotten the knitting/crocheting bug again lately---I think it tends to hit me during the cold weather...makes sense, I guess, it's such a cozy hobby. I somehow cranked out 4 scarves the week before Christmas--a definite record for me. They were gifties for my nieces and they were definitely well-loved! Then I crocheted myself the cutest little hat that I found a pattern for on etsy (gah...love that site, if you haven't yet, you really MUST check it out!!). The girl in the picture make it look so darn perfect---I am such a dork, I actually cut my bangs to look more like the picture!! LOL Luckily, I've decided I really love my hair with some nice wispy bangs, even when I'm not wearing the hat!! Anyhow, maybe sometime soon I will get some pics posted of all the projects I've been doing!

Sooo, how about alittle freebee!!?? It's just alittle somethin-somethin made with Shauna's & my kit "Piece of Cake" (you can find the full kit here). I finally bought myself a Starbucks tumbler and I just love it!! So here is a little quickpage---if you don't have a tumbler yet, I strongly recommend them!! WHOA...how about some news and goodies!!

Woo, I just love the holidays. So much going on...tons of fun, parties cooookies!! So far this month I've been to a Christmas fair, a Christmas choir concert (where, I might add, my daughter sang a killer solo of "Rockin' around the Christmas Three"---so proud a mommy, I was!!) a cookie exchange, and just to night a great Christmas party. Not to mention this all being kicked off by three nights straight of Thanksgiving dinner! Luckily, my family is newly armed with the wonders of the Wii Fit LOL. My whole family has just been having a blast with this---and, man, what a workout! It never fails to make me giggle to walk in to see my daughter spinning her virutal hula hoop. Hubby & I are in heavy competition for best score in the ski jumping game! Don't have one,..get one. They are so much fun.

OK...so first bit of news...I am now officially the newest exclusive designer at ScrapOrchard!! From here on in, my designs will be available only at the Orchard, so come take a look!!

A Fond Farewell...

To my home at Oscraps!! Oh so sad..been with them for over a year and it such a terrific place. Vicki, the owner is just the best and runs her store with such dignity! My last day there will be the 13th...:(

YAY!! It's Halloween time!! I am so excited, but totally bummed that I actually have to work on one of my favorite days of the year. :( SO I am writing this post alittle early to say HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Lots of yummy stuff going on in my store this week. First off, Wild Rose is now in stores...see last post for pics. Second---I have a brand new kit and it is WICKED SWEET!! Literally!! LOL I really hope you like it---who else can you count on to sneak alittle pink into a Halloween kit, right?? After seeing the musical Wicked three times this year, I just could not pass up the chance to make a kit featuring cute little witch hats!
